Scientific Advisory Council

The NEC Society’s 12-seat Scientific Advisory Council is committed to advancing NEC research, education, and advocacy in partnership with patient-families and other multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Leaders in NEC Care and Research

We are grateful to our Scientific Advisory Council members. Many Council members are internationally recognized leaders in the field and have dedicated their careers to neonates at risk of necrotizing enterocolitis. The Scientific Advisory Council works directly with the organization’s leadership and oversees all of the NEC Society’s projects, content, and materials.
