Ravi Patel is the Ann Davidson Critz Professor of Neonatal Medicine and Director of Neonatal Clinical Research at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He is passionate about evidence-based neonatology. His research interests include clinical trials, blood transfusion, necrotizing enterocolitis, and caffeine therapy. He is the past-chair of the International Society for Evidence-Based Neonatology (EBNEO), executive committee member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and an elected member of the Society for Pediatric Research and American Pediatric Society.
