Liam was born prematurely at 27 weeks gestation. Initially, Liam faced challenges with his lungs and heart, but doctors were able to stabilize him, giving his loving parents hope. However, Liam devastatingly developed NEC. Within a matter of hours, Liam’s condition was grave.
Liam was rushed into emergency surgery. Despite every effort to save him, Liam tragically passed away from NEC at 19 days old.
