The NEC Society, in partnership with the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA), is excited to announce a $5,000 Research Award opportunity for pediatric surgery research fellows working to accelerate NEC research.

Pediatric surgery research fellows whose primary research aligns with the NEC Research Priorities are eligible. This award will help to support promising NEC research being conducted by pediatric surgery research fellows and inspire more pediatric surgeons to join us in building a world without NEC.

Applications are due May 1, 2024 at 5pmPT. 

The awardee is encouraged to attend the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA) meeting, taking place May 16 – 19, 2024.
