Our fighter Gabriela Grace was diagnosed with NEC during her first week of life and passed shortly after. I had no knowledge of NEC until it was too late. I am involved with the NEC society and part of the council to help spread awareness about necrotizing enterocolitis in hopes that one day no family will have to experience such a devastating loss.
