Sophie is a NEC survivor. She is a nursing student at Seattle University and a CNA at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Sophie is passionate about pediatric nursing and NEC advocacy. She currently helps with NEC research and outreach while also working to bring more resources and support to NICU families. Sophie loves being able to use her own experience to help other babies and families affected by NEC and hopes to continue doing so throughout her nursing career.
