Sarah is a communications professional specializing in brand development, media relations, content creation, and graphic and web design. Following her graduation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media, she began her career in the biotechnology sector, with a focus on infant nutrition and human milk. Sarah is deeply passionate about infant and maternal health, the intricacies of human milk, and the advancement of life-saving research. Sarah is deeply committed to building a world without the devastation of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and believes wholeheartedly in the NEC Society’s mission to bring together patient-families, clinicians, and scientists to advance NEC research, education, and advocacy. Â
