Justin is a strategic and people-centered nonprofit leader with more than a decade of experience building mission-driven programs and securing transformative philanthropic partnerships. Before joining the NEC Society, he served as Executive Director of The Potter’s House in Washington, DC, where he led the 65 years-old organization through its transition to independent 501(c)(3) status and expanded community programs that provided more than 20,000 free meals each year.
Justin began his career in the service industry and later led Books for Keeps, a literacy nonprofit, where he doubled annual revenue and launched new programming reaching nearly 15,000 children annually. He’s passionate about connecting generosity with impact, strengthening organizational culture, and helping teams thrive through empathy and collaboration.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys storytelling, playing board games with friends, and performing improv with the Washington Improv Theater.
