The NEC Society’s running team completed the 2021 California International Marathon in honor of families affected by necrotizing enterocolitis. We completed CIM for our sons, daughters, friends, and loved ones – they are stronger than any marathoner and their stories carried us across the finish line.

Every marathon mile was dedicated to a child. During the marathon, our runners carried bracelets with these children’s names and these little loves inspired our runners throughout the race and across the finish line.
