NEC Society Welcomes Accomplished Attorney to Board of Directors

Hayley Rohn, Esq.

The NEC Society is honored to welcome Hayley Rohn, an accomplished estate planning attorney, to the organization’s Board of Directors. Hayley hails from Michigan and is an attorney at Hayley E. Rohn PLLC, an innovative virtual law firm. Hayley has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a law degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. She has worked as an attorney with families for over 10 years, and prior to founding Hayley E. Rohn PLLC, she worked for prestigious law firms in the Detroit area in their estate and tax planning groups before working at a large bank in their charitable advisory group.

Hayley shares, “A dear friend of mine lost her son to necrotizing enterocolitis, so I am motivated to contribute to the NEC Society’s mission of driving research and improving outcomes. I’m honored to serve on the Board, and ultimately, to be a part of this growing movement in increasing awareness and the tragic impact NEC has on families. I look forward to working with our Board to help the NEC Society grow!”

The NEC Society was founded in Ann Arbor in 2014 and has become an international champion for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and patient-family integrated care in the neonatal intensive care unit. Jennifer Canvasser, founder and director, writes, “I am thrilled to welcome Hayley to our team. Together with our diverse, multidisciplinary stakeholders, we can improve outcomes and bring us closer to preventing this devastating disease.”
